Can tinnitus be cancelled? null

I would like to hear from tinnitus sufferers. @ the Denon Team ... 1) what is "the ATT" ? 2) if the PerL can effectively cancel the sound of the ocean at the beach, or winds rushing by could it not, at least in theory, cancel a non-existing sound?
