“The battery that came with my nikon camera does not recharge. I bought a Digipower battery, but that one also is not recharging. Can u explain why that is . Are the batteries bad, or is it a problem with the camera? Can this be checked at the store?”

• My battery didn't seat properly at first and wouldn't charge. Make sure it is properly seated and has good contact inside the charger when inserting the battery. Took two or three tries before my new battery would charge, now it works every time. Jiggle it, just a little bit.
