How far does it go within range null

The DJI specifications state a maximum distance of up to 9.3 miles. However, in most cases the drone can't be seen much farther than 0.5 miles, making it hard to maintain the legal Visual Line of Sight rule. The RC Pro remote often maintains a great signal within the VLOS distance.

With clear line of sight about 4½ to 5 miles

I have not tested the range to it's fullest extent as of yet
