Keep in mind that this camcorder doesn't have an optical zoom lens. You can "zoom in" digitally with the joy stick to some degree (not as much as normally with a true zoom lens). Also, at full digital zoom, you may see some quality degradation.

The lighting setting that come as a preset are awesome for filming indoors as well as in lower light situations. You can also adjust your gimbal settings and lock onto your son for tracking him in a fast pace situation. Besides that, its small and easy to use anywhere, you'll love it!
