• Physical copies have a chip to insert into the switch each time you want to play. A digital copy is sent to you by email and downloaded onto your switch. You dont have to keep up with a chip.

• Digital means you will get a link in your email and can download the program. Physical means you actually get the physical DVD media and must have a disk player to install it on your system.

• Digital version is to download only to your device and would install and take up space of your Swtich. Physical has the actual game cartridge and you can swap or lend to your friends and family to play.
