• Hi Nance! You can connect this to your hotspot to help bring in signal, yes. In case you didn't know, we make signal booster kits which include antennas like this one (Drive Reach OTR, Drive X OTR). They are made to bring in the signal through an antenna like this, and then put it through a cell signal booster, which is powered, in order to enhance the connectivity on your devices.

• When using hotspot I used to have to put phone by window now I don't have to.
