Do these need 120v or battery? null

These are connected to a receiver with speaker wire.

No power, just need speaker wire from receiver to speaker

H, those are great, only need the wire from the stereo, i got a an amplifire and sounds great, good sound not even a little bit noise

These are passive speakers and use no power.

No, they do not require any type of batteries. Just bought a set of these 2 weeks ago for my pool/patio and they work quite nicely. I think you will like your purchase should you choose to buy them.
