Hello, the TV can certainly be removed easily enough while the bracket will stay put. There are two attachments connected to the back of the TV that allows this. You can also adjust the TV with this and there are two screws that help balance and secure. I did not notice a lock mechanism. MY bracket is also outside on stucco and the bracket is the best I've seen at a very reasonable price. Full motion and sturdy. Enjoy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No Quick Release; however, there are just two standard screws that hold it into place. Loosen the two screws and you can lift the tv from the wall attached base. No security locking feature.
