The mount does tilt horizontally, and also extends to a good distance. All you have to do is make sure it’s level so you don’t get thrown off by it looking crooked on the wall (level is provided). And what I had to also do is extend one side out from the wall a little and mark where I would drill holes into the wall, just cause it wasn’t very accessible for where the holes had to go. MAKE SURE that it’s mounted on the studs in the wall so it’s secure.
