• Short answer...Yes...I have a sound bar/XBOX ONEX/roku box hooked up to my 50 inch Samsung 7 series tv....no issues.

• PS4 Pro HDMI would work with a PS3, but a PS3 HDMI cable would limit the Pro's capabilities. The HDMI standard has to do with the ports. The cable is merely a piece of wire connecting them.
