• No. But, we've added 1 furniture slider (1in by 4 inches long) on the front part of the beater head? It glides better and still pick up very well.

• No. Beware! I just gave a review about this. I recently purchased new Ultra Soft Carpet, a brand name, and it is terrible. Unusable. It works great on my laminate.

• We have a combination of tile, carpet, and hardwood in our home. It easily adjusts to the different surfaces. It has a button to turn off the roller bristles when your not on carpet. We have 3 children and 2 pets it does a fantastic job. It would be difficult to go up and down stairs a lot, my wife said she wouldn’t get it , ifwe had a large staircase in our home. Hope this helps!
