Can’t speak to the warranty but this vacuum has been terrible for residential use. I can’t imagine using it universally!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not that I'm an authority on this but I've never seen a Dyson used commercially. Commercial cleaners I'm familiar with use vacs of primarily metal construction that can take a lot of misuse and still look like one from when I was a kid in the 60s. I honestly wouldn't put a Dyson in this category. Used properly in a home they hold up better than Sharks I've had, by a lot and Shark isn't keen on actually warrantying their vacs. My DC15 Animal went 12 years used every day for cleaning up floors with long dog hair on them. The plastic aged out and began to fail.
