“I used it about 4 times, then the motorhead on Max was going off and on. I cleaned out the dustbin looked for other trash in all parts. Washed the filter and hope that tomorrow when put back together it will work with no problems. Any other suggestions?”

There is a warning light that tells you if the air passageway is clogged. Is it on? To unclog, move the canister down to empty the contents, then while in the down position there is a channel or opening for the air to exit the vac through the filter. Make sure there is nothing obstructing the opening. You can get dirt and hair to clog the opening if you overfill the canister.
