While you could certainly use your Dyson HP01 Pure Hot + Cool on a screened porch, you may notice that the life of your filter diminishes much quicker, as the filter would be working harder if the machine is being used outdoors. We also would recommend using the machine in a covered area where it would not be exposed to any elements. You may find this unit to not be an effective outdoor option. • A:Answer The unit comes with a small remote. The right hand column of buttons, second button from the top is a toggle style button. This button shows a red dot over a red circle. Press the red circle to turn heat down.

• A:Answer Hello BLS, This is Miella from Dyson The HP01 Pure Hot+Cool can capture up to 99.9% of VOCs, gases, bacteria, allergens, and more as small as 0.3 microns. That said, however, while experiences will vary and I'm not certain which model you have specifically, I can confirm Dyson heater fans use up to 1500 watts when used in the heating mode. • A:Answer Hello Lisa, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Pure Hot + Cool™ purifier fan removes a range of contaminants from the air. It purifies to remove 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns from the home. It also removes pollen, pet dander and odors such as cigarette smoke and cooking smells. It will also remove VOC's. The effectiveness of the purifier can vary, depending on both outdoor and indoor air quality, and the size of the space you're trying to purify the air in.
