“May be a silly question, but is this unit parrot safe in meaning does it use any type of heated teflon that could be dangerous to the bird? Thanks!”

• Hi Mike, this is Kelly with Dyson. Not a silly question at all; we hear this one often. The only Dyson product that does contain Teflon, is the Supersonic hair dryer. Our current Hot + Cool EC products (AM09, HP01, HP02, HP04) do not contain PTFE as part of the heating element. The PH01 Pure Humidify + Cool does not produce heat, so there would be no teflon or any danger to any type of pet. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
