Slightly. Using the sunshine through the window test, I see much fewer particulates. However, I wouldnt say that this is going to save your SO from suffering. You might need a much, much larger purfier for the whole house. Consider a unit that goes into your duct work?

Please try again later.Hi Abby, I own purifiers including this Dyson cool air purifier and they are helping significantly with various allergies however, as a cat allergy sufferer myself I was quite disturbed to read this question.. & having been in this situation before.. please reconsider rehoming your cats. It's not fair for your marital partner to live with something they are allergic to. The level of breathing & comfort you can achieve with a Purifyer WITHOUT the cats there will also help your suffering allergic partner greatly I'm sure! And you will feel the difference & benefits of good air even though you aren't allergic.. but keeping the allergens in the house and not rectifying the source of the problem is not a good plan. With kindness and respect to you I write this.. and I know having pets it's a difficult emotional decision but it's a no brainer if you care about your partners health.
