Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The best Dyson purifiers for removing formaldehyde are actually our brand Pure Cool Cryptomic and Pure Hot + Cool Cryptomic models. They purify the air in the same was, as all of the other air purifiers in our product line, but this model will capture AND destroy all formaldehyde in the air. The TP04 Pure Cool Tower will still capture that, but it will remain trapped in the filter. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
