A:AnswerHi there, this is Tia from Dyson. Just to clarify, what makes the Dyson fans unique is our patented Air Multiplier™ technology which means our fan cools a person by moving air over and around them. It's the air flow that from our bladeless fan that provides personal cooling effects.
However, please note the Dyson fans are not designed to provide refrigeration, such as in the case of air conditioning units which contain freon. With that being said, you will not want to expect the ambient air in a room to drop in cooler temperatures when only using a fan.
Thanks for choosing Dyson.
Best wishes,
Tia

A:AnswerHi there, this is David with Dyson. Dyson air purifiers may be used to purify any size room. Essentially, the larger the size of room, the more time the unit will take to purify. The smaller the room, the less time it will take. This will all be thanks to the 360° HEPA filter, which draws in air from all around the machine, along with the added oscillation functionality. Dyson Pure Cool Link™ air purifiers will also have the ability to monitor air quality within your room remotely via the Dyson Link app.
Best wishes,
David

A:AnswerHi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. It sounds like you are referring to the initial machine assembly, in which the amplifier loop gets attached to the base of the machine. You should be able to just place the loop on top of the base, press down, and it will click in to place. We also have a "Getting started" video on our website here that may help: https://www.dyson.com/support/journey/guides/305158-01?machineId=305158-01
If you still have trouble, feel free to contact us directly via email at askdysonUS@dyson.com.

A:AnswerTurn off IP privacy in iCloud settings. You may need to toggle if off for the network of your machine in the wifi settings. Dyson also needs your precise location, so location services have to be enabled. It’s a privacy nightmare, but no one seems to care about that.
A:AnswerSize of the machine is much larger with tp07 and tp07 gives real-time data along with many more data readings rather than a vague color guidance. Best Buy only covers the non-internet-connected version of this machine, the TP17 (something like that). That one only shows results on the built-in screen, and can only be controlled on the unit or via the physical remote. It will not connect to the Dyson app.
A:AnswerHi there Tara, this is Tia from Dyson. The Dyson Link app lets you control the purifier with your smart phone. You may also view your machine's replacement remote directly on Dyson's website. If you're in need of product support, feel free to reach us directly at questions.us@dyson.com.
Thanks for your support of Dyson technology!

A:AnswerHi Mary, this is Kelly with Dyson. You can place the TP02 wherever you like. If you want to feel the airflow on you, a great place would be elevated so that the airflow is more directed toward you. You can leave the machine on the floor, or place it up on a dresser or end table.

Kelly

A:AnswerYes it has an auto air quality that you can set to one of three levels. It's very easy to adjust from the app. I'm at work and can adjust everything. Attached is a photo of air quality settings and a shot of where it detected when i was cooking last night.
A:AnswerHi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson TP02 will oscillate 70 degrees. The Dyson Link app is a free download, and free to use.

A:AnswerWhen I received your question from Best Buy, it showed a photo of MY air purifier. It IS a Dyson air purifier (model TP02 (blue)). Is that the unit that you have?
We're very happy with our Dyson TP02 (blue). As you say, it does (somehow) cool the purified air that it blows at you. I know this as we don't have air conditioning, and we have been enveloped in smoke from California wildfires for the past 3 weeks. Some of those days were 100F at night, and we slept with the TP02 on the #10 setting, with the windows closed. We didn't feel hot like we normally do on hot nights.
I don't know how the TP02 does it, but it does cool the air a bit.
Very good product.
A:AnswerHello Roger, this is Kelly with Dyson. Dyson purifiers are scientifically tested to capture particles as small as allergens and viruses, but we want to be clear that at this time, no purifier manufacturer—including Dyson—can speak to their products’ performance against the COVID-19 virus. As the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 virus outbreak are developing and ever-changing, nobody as yet knows with certainty how this virus behaves, so we recommend people follow guidance on COVID-19 virus prevention from the relevant local public health bodies.

A:AnswerHello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. While you could use the TP02 Pure Cool Link tower in a covered outdoor area, it would likely cause your air quality readings to show fluctuations, as it would be reading the air quality outside, if used outside.

A:AnswerHello Sylvia, this is Kelly with Dyson. All of the Dyson TP02 models are identical; the only difference among the ones you see would be the color of the machine. Other than that, regardless of the retailer sold, you'll get the same exact performance among the TP02 across the line.

A:AnswerHello Maggie, this is Kelly with Dyson. Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.
Best wishes,
Kelly
