A:AnswerIf you have it on high, next to where the smoke is coming from, it should help. You have to remember smoke is pretty much lighter than air and the size of the unit is maybe 3 feet. Plus another thing to consider is where the filter is, it sits on the floor, but it does clean the entire room (at least mine). I leave mine on 24/7 and so far, so good. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerIt depends on the size of the apartment. It covers 400 square feet of space. I would suggest treating one room at a time, then leave it on auto in the living room (or other location that needs attention).
A:Answer01 base model, need remote
02 has smart home connectivity options and works with Alexa and google
04 has all the above and a digital screen on unit.
A:AnswerYes. It works as a fan too but the airflow is not as powerful. If you need a fan that blows forceful, powerful air this is not it. It does an excellent job cleaning the air though.
A:AnswerHi Jeb, this is Krystal with Dyson. The filter in the Dyson Pure Cool air purifier cannot be re-used. How often you change it, does depend on how often it is used. If used for 24 hours a day, it will need to be changed about once every 6 months. If used for 12 hours or less per day, it will need to be changed about once every year.
Best Wishes,
Krystal
