Sorry Jeff my Camera is still in the box. If you need to hook up the camera lower the tail gate, there are several special head screws 2 will let the rear light come off. You will need another person to put the truck in reverse and see which light does on. That’s the one will trigger you camera. My truck is a 2016 Tundra . I’m not sure if it’s wired like yours
