“I just had this camera installed in my car. It works once I turn on my car but if I had been driving and then I put my car in reverse the screen will not show the cameras view. I don’t know if this is how it’s made or if Best Buy installed it wrong”

Take it back. The install team messed it up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.So ,if I understand what you are sayin; when you first start your car the camera comes on automatically. The when you get to your destination and back up the camera does not come on as expected? Is it on while you are driving? Giving you a great view of where you have been? Do you have your headlight,parking lights, or daytime running lights? These can all factor in to the possible problem. Also, what make and model do you drive? Some cars have a dual amperage bulb and it can cause poor or zero picture due to fluctuating power to the device. Glad to help with just a bit more information!
