“Do all the pro’s need to be connected to Ethernet or only one and the other two only to power? I have a new home and it only has cable in the living room.”

I have the 3pack of pros and thats exactly how I wired mine. Only the 1st one is ethernetted to the modem. The other 2 only to electric. Great wifi speeds everywhere on our 2 acre property

Only one needs to be connected with the Ethernet cable and the others connect to that main eero as wifi points

Only one needs connected to your home router with ethernet for your WiFi. Then use the Eero app on phone or pad to program the rest of the Eero's. If you need to get hard wired internet from one building or space to another, then connect one Eero to your home router with ethernet and one at new location. The set up on the iPhone and iPad is excellent and easy to understand. I do not know about the Google play app. Range is actually pretty good. We have 3 set up at a location. One inside connected to home WiFi network, one connected outside to boost signal, and one about 200 feet away inside a wood building.
