This is one of the neat things that eero does. If you have multiple eero (of any type), one will be hardwired to your modem/internet, that is the head/gateway eero. That gateway eero will create a wifi network (where you set the name/password in the app etc). Other eero that are assigned to that network will broadcast the same wifi name/password as the gateway eero, so your device should roam between eero as you walk around without you having to toggle wifi off/on None of the eero are rated for outdoor use, so keep it someplace where the sun won't get to it and it will stay dry. Using it outdoors may violate the warranty, so we might not be able to replace it but we would look at it on a case by case basis. If your device is not roaming as often as you like try moving the eero further apart (the usual signal for a device to hop from one eero to the next is that the signal from the eero it is currently connected to gets weak enough)
