No its not ventless -- it has an exhaust you'll need to pipe out. Steam means you can connect waterline and have it steam your clothes.

They are much smaller than this 8.0 cubic foot capacity Electrolux. Also, they are hard to find in the USA. If you find one for sale check the Hertz rating.
