Hello and thank you for your question. In order to support 1440p at 120hz with an Xbox Series S, you must use an HDMI 2.1 cable. Unfortunately, this Element gaming monitor only supports HDMI 2.0, meaning your game play can be either 1440p at 60Hz or 1080p at 120Hz.
