I'm not sure how well the heat would travel up the shaving cream, but I can't think of a reason why you couldn't try. You may have to stir the foam a bit to make sure the heat is evenly distributed the first minute or so, but I think it's an excellent idea. Creative thinking!

Sure...you could also use it for plants if you'd like.

No it's an electric coffee mug. It is designed to maintain the temperature of liquids for consumption.
