- Answer I have no problems with chipping that is why i picked the copper one on the advice from you tube, when you pour coffee or tea do not use a metal spoon in the cup.I have had the cup for a month now with no problems and no it does not feel ceramic. Wash by hand and completely dry it before putting it on charger.
