Is it also a fan and are there different speeds? null

There is no fan on this style of air purifier and that is what makes it silent. It releases negative ions into the air which cluster particles together. The blades are positively charged which draws the clustered particles back into the purifier and collects them - similar to how a magnet works.

It is absolutely not a fan, I was very disappointed as I really thought it was too . I have however decided to keep it upon opening it , I have allergies and I have noticed less dust In my living room where it’s kept.
