“Does this printer have a paper cassette loading tray in the front of the printer? Or is it just a rear paper feeder in the back of the unit? Also, does this printer accept 8.5 X 14 legal size paper in the front paper cassette loading tray? Thank you!”

Load in the back. Paper comes out the front. I don't know if it accepts legal size paper.

If you want an EcoTank with a front-facing paper cassette, consider the ET-3850. It is available at Bestbuy.com (inventory levels can change) and it holds 250 sheets of 8.5" x 14" paper in the cassette. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
