Both printers have similar features, but the Epson ET-3950 has a newer design, faster print speeds (18 ppm black / 9 ppm color vs. 15.5 ppm black / 8.5 ppm color), and higher ink yields (8,500 pages black / 6,500 color vs. 7,500 black / 6,000 color) compared to the ET-3850.
