Quality is as good as the paper and ink you use, I recently upgraded from a Canon printer 4 years old and this new Epson is significantly faster in color or B&W

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's awful to all of the above. It requires both photo black and regular black- but here's the catch---- it USES both black AND PHOTO BLACK to print even draft black and white documents. AVOID THIS PRINTER AT YOUR OWN $$ COST

I used Costco professional glossy inkjet paper and was amazed at the quality. My impression was that it did better than the matte finish paper supplied with the 830 printer.
