“Will this printer work with Windows 7? If one color cartridge is empty can that one be replaced or do all have to be replaced?”

• It will work with Windows 7. Easy plug and play connection. Have not had the printer long enough to replace any cartridges but so far it has excellent performance with our windows 7 system.

• With the older model xp810, it had to be replaced. Only had XP830 a short time, so too soon to know. Also programmed to know when catridge expired, so printer wouldn't operate unless replaced, even though cartridge had plenty of ink left.

• Yes, it works very well with Windows 7. Mine is new, so I have not had to replace ink yet, but it is my understanding that you replace the individual cartridges as they run out, but I don't have any experience with that aspect of it.
