“INK cost/efficiency of Epson-Ex.Pr. XP-630 All-In-One Printer ? I prefer paper over LCD screens and files. That being said, I'm not wasteful, BUT it is the cost of INK which is killing me. The C.... MP560 was on sale while the M.. B... P.. wasn't. I miss Steve Jobs. That C.... has cost me over $700 in ink alone. Wi-Fi died. I would like to make an educated decision instead of listening to the kid who didn't work at BB for long. Is this Epsom going to hammer the copier nails in the wooden box or leave enough in the wallet by saving me on the cost of ink? Serious question .... poor humor. Thank you.”

I used this printer for college homework, and the printer is very efficient regarding the ink, which is around $10 per cartridge.

Please try again later.This is supposed to be more efficient than some others, but of course that is relevant to what someone prints, how often, and what settings they use? I change the default Printer Preferences/Settings to "Draft" to save ink and it does help. I would still buy this one. I also found a need for printing photos with I won't normally need, and this thing excels in that quality... it is really a waste of time and money if you need to print a photo on photo paper and find that it looks out-of-color or fake or just not good... this printer prints like a photo should look.. I am very impressed. But for ink costs, I think they are all way over priced for ink... but I recommend this printer. Other features working so well for my non-techie wife says a lot too.
