“Does the roller ever damage the pictures or make them curl?”

• I've done about 5,ooo scans. The curl or flatness of the photo does not change. I've not seen any damage either. Clean the scanner as recommended. No stickum on photos. Some reviews said they saw some roller tracks on the photos, but I've not seen that. The roller holds the photos tight so open the lid to remove a stuck photo, don't yank it out. Don't scan stiff backed photos.

• We have not experienced any issues like you describe. Maybe tech support could determine if you have a faulty unit. Ours works great so far.
