• It should I have my epson 880 hooked up to my denon receiver and no issues

• Hi San, The 3.5 mm audio out port on the Home Cinema 880 supports stereo, not 5.1 surround sound. Ideally, you would route the video signal to the projector and the audio signal to your receiver. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
