• The V850 does not scan anything larger than about 11.5 inch long, especially as a transparency.

• sorry about just answering. have not been on PC for a few days. According to manual theV850 will cover 8x10 in. positive or negs. My older scanner would cover 5x7in. I covered larger by scanning in sections then merging them together on PC programs
