Is there a way to register the FitBit so the year's warranty kicks in? We also purchased the protection plan, but I just want to make sure. null

When you set up an account with fit bit it automatically logs that is your first day, and your warrantee information and record begins.

if you have a best buy rewards membership(its free) and you used it during your purchase you are all set. it automatically is in there system. we were told when I bought mine and 2 weeks later my wife bought one that all you need is the fit bit and phone# for rewards. they can look it up. we even went in before the 30 days after purchase and It was on sale and they looked it up through the rewards membership and got the price match guarantee refund for the difference. we didn't even need the receipt do to the membership, very awesome and super easy to have and well worth the freeness too!
