How do I activate the 3 month free trial with apple null

Beats the heck out of me- I tried for an hour and finally gave up- waste of time and their goodwill!

Wondering this myself. I bought a $100 item and it said i'd get 3 months free if appletv+. I viewed the confirmation email and it said it emailed me directions for redeeming. No it didn't. Even checked spam.

I bought my tv in store. The activation code was on my receipt but the link didn’t work that was provided on the receipt to start the process. I ended up going to the Apple TV app on my phone, clicked on my account settings, and chose “Redeem Gift Card or Code.” I used the code on my receipt. Voila. (This assumes you’ve already logged into the Apple TV app on the smart tv with your Apple ID.)

Well it's a year later and people are still having issues. BB and Apple should quit wasting people's time. Took me almost an hour to redeem the code, between the website I was told to go to not actually existing, apple not letting me log into my account for the first dozen tries or so and then the apple tv app not working and either auto logging me off immediately after I sign in or just getting stuck on the signing in loading page for like an hour.

If you are an Android user, you don't. For those that are not engulfed in the Apple world, this is a useless promotion. I wish I would have known prior to buying the TV. I would have bought something that had no ties to Apple at all.

TOTALLY AGREE - I am not sure if I have the original packaging but I bought the product at Best Buy on the basis of the Free Apple TV+ - it is impossible to input the information - and Apple was no help either
