“I will be picking this freezer up this week. Can the freezer be laid down in a car or truck just for transport or does it have to be upright during pickup and transport? It would only be laid down for about 30 mins.”

• NO…. It is not recommended to lay refrigerators or freezers flat!

• Hi, KellyP! We do not recommend an appliance such as a freezer to be transported on its side, back, or upside down. However, should this occur we would recommend allowing at least 24-48 hours with it sitting upright before plugging it in. -Bianca
