• Hey, Jim! The model you selected can be placed on the laminate floor surface. However, we do recommend making sure that the unit has at least 4 inch space on all sides for adequate circulation. ~Courtney

• It is probably not recommended in general ie: not placing a freezer on a non-waterproof laminate surface . The moisture, the heat generated from the freezure may damage the floor in the long term..
