“Does this dishwasher have to have a cord installed or can it be hardwired?”

• There is NO cord, it's 2 short wires, black and white. Also a grounding wire. Not sure you can connect a cord with plug. I hardwired mine to a cord that runs behind my wall and in the attic and connected to the breaker box.
