“I just picked up this fridge and obviously a water hook up was not included. I went to the local hardware store and have tried 1/8, 1/4, and 3/8 universal ice maker kits and none thread onto the water supply threads on the fridge.. what size is needed?”

Hi Devo. A water supply line made of ¼ inch (6 mm) OD, copper or braided, flexible stainless steel tubing. To determine the length of tubing needed, measure the distance from the ice maker inlet valve at the back of the refrigerator to your cold water pipe. Then add approximately 7 feet, so the refrigerator can be moved out for cleaning. This information is available on page 2 of the installation instructions. ~ Anna
