If you have it on max there will be frost but if you have it on a lower temperature there will not be but it will still keep items frozen. The fridge will still be cold as well. It just depends on how cold you want your fridge items.

no it's not, so far i've had it for one semester and barely any frost though.

No but it is relatively easy to manually defrost if you don't allow a thick buildup of ice to collect before defrosting.

According to Frigidaire's website, no, it is not.

No. It must be scraped at least once a week. Its easy though.
