“I have a 15 and 3/4 by 27 inch opening framed by molding that used to contain a built-in microwave. I would like to get rid of the molding. Would this microwave along with the framing kit work for this situation? Thanks.”

Hello, Susan. The recommended cut out dimensions for this product are as follows: 16-7/8” Height, 24-4/5” Width, and 20” length.
