• Yes. This is how I’m running mine in my Mustang Darkhorse with mirror usb c port. The only downside is the cord is super long. Trying to find a short cable

• Wherever you can get USB power from should work. If you just have bare power wires going to the mirror, you'll need to buy a third party DC converter to turn it into USB standards. In my experience, those have a high failure rate in a vehicle because of all the vibrations.
