Yes, the NA stands for North America.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The answer is no for me. If you have time, read on. I bought the DriveSmart 51 NA LMT-S in the US and took it with me to Canada. I got in the rental car and entered a local Canadian address to begin my leisure trip, it didn't take - same results after several tries. Out of frustration, I called Garmin and validated my fear that it didn't really have the Canada map pre-loaded as I thought it should based on the advertised information. I was told that I had to purchase separately the Canada map coverage, because I purchased it in the US and only the US map coverage is included, not the entire North America map coverage. (Perhaps the new definition for North America has been narrowed to just contain the US? I don't know.). Spending extra is just one thing, the real challenge was to find a computer to complete the installation process. (Smartphone can do a lot of things these days, but not in this instance, where a USB port is needed for the installation.) Needless to say, it was a struggle to get to the hotel where I could get computer access. On top of all these, the installation took me over 3 hours to complete due to extremely slow internet speed at the hotel. I felt completely exhausted at the end of this whole process - right at the start of my leisure trip! Hope this misery finds no other company. . .
