“Is this voice activated...Meaning can a person speak the address into the gps without having to type it in? If not, are there any models that have this option? Thanks in advance.”

The voice command is great and was fairly easy to learn even for an old guy. You can even add to your trip in progress using voice command and it was simple enough to do without reading the manual. The manual is actually included on the unit if you have to stop and figure something out. Didn't really need it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes just say voice command then say the address slowly. It will give a list of similar addresses. Pick the right one and say map it and you are good to go.

You hit the back button say Voice Command and then follow it through to add to your existing trip, find hotels, restaurants or whatever. Fairly simple even for an old guy like me.
