“What’s the difference between the DriveSmart 51 LMT and the Drive Assist 51LMT?”

• I had the same question and called customer service. The rep explained that other than the camera, there were two differences. Drive assist includes 1) lane departure warning - works for 2-lane highways only, not across multi lanes and 2) forward collision - alerts you when you’re driving too close to the vehicle in front of you. All other features were reported to be the same.

• Drive Assist has built-in dash camera and comes with a micro SD card. BTW, the S series has wifi as well.
