• Yes you can if you are using Garmin Express to update your maps and for initial setup. A backup copy of your information is stored on your computer and is available when you plug your Garmin into your computer. Not sure how it works with the auto updates with WiFi. I will let someone smarter than I comment on that feature but I know it works with my computer using Garmin Express. One caveat, you do have to use the same computer you used to update your old Garmin nav system. DUH!
