Being a senior myself, it is relatively easy to use. Read the instructions over more than once to fully understand the best way to operate. More features than my previous GARMEN.

The default settings from the factory give a good view of the map and surroundings. The online interface is easy to download onto your desktop/laptop, and updates through it are simple too. The Bluetooth connection to your phone follows regular Bluetooth procedures is if you've done one or two of those you should not have any problem. Also: Remember you can't break this thing unless you dump it on the floor or pavement from height. You CAN back out of software errors, even if you have to call Garmin for help on the really tough ones BUT I haven't had one like that yet (ever). You can download and print the manual to hard copy if it makes you feel more secure.
